Blade

Another portrait of my old friend and martial arts practitioner (he is much more than a practitioner but quite modest) Graham.

He has practised a wide range of martial arts from Wing Chun (kung fu) to Iaido (the art of drawing a sword).

The main challenge we faced with this portrait was the length of the sword and keeping it within the constraints of the backdrop but with a little planning we came up with this pose and I think it is a winner.
