A girl's best friend

Normally we say a dog is man's best friend but like all good sayings this one has its exceptions.

I enjoyed a trip to Portobello Road market in London last weekend and amongst the market stalls I found this lady and her new puppy and the love and devotion to the new member of her family was clear to see and very touching.

We could all do with a friend like this I think.
